Well, in my view, issue of "classic" family is really important. And it's not only about male and female, it's about one-parent family too. Unfortunatley, amount of these families increasing, slowly,but surely. But talking about importance of male and female parent, this summer I got some priceless experience, and I had an opportunity to know different opinions about this issue from students all over the world. We talked about relationship and marriage between same sex people. The result of this discussion turned out to be very supring for me. I accepted the fact that people from Europe and USA don't mind geys to get married, but still I don't feel good about it...anyway I heard that people insist on letting same sex parents to have children. Personally, I think it is tottaly wrong and unnatural. And it's not about rights of sexual minorities (They have more of them nowdays), it's about children. They suppose to grow up as a strong and complete person with health point of view on relationships. But how do children suppose to do that, when their daddies give each other kissies before going to work? My feeling is that it's huge harm to children's consciousness
It is known that the amount of single-parent families has increased. I am absolutely sure, that this fact influences badly on children's personality. Firstly, child should be shown proper relationship between man and woman in case to have a role model in the future. Secondly, if both parents have an authority over their offspring, child become all-sufficient and confident person. Of course, it would be wrong to suggest that all single- parent families will necessarily end in the disappointment in their child, but if this the case it's likely to happen in families where there is either mother or father.
