Nowadays many people choose life without procreation. They are called "childfree". In many countries childfree struggle with their relatives, government and society for their right to live the life they want.

Being childfree has some important advantages. The main advantage is that childfree do not depend on children. It means they do not spend their time fostering kids who constantly need attention and care. Instead of this childfree can do any activity they want. For example, they can take up a new hobby which needs concentration and much time. It can be anything from sewing to basejumping. Another advantage is that childfree men and women feel themselves more healthy and confident because they do not worry about kids’ health or safety.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. The main disadvantage is that childfree are not going to have a help when they get old. Because people get this help from their children. Another disadvantage is that many people believe that those who do not have kids are more selfish and irresponsible.

To sum up, being childfree has both advantages and disadvantages. Each person has a right to choose.
