When I read your story, I remember the book named "Don't shoot at white swans". The main hero of this story protects the nature and believes, that man and nature are connected.

Hello, Daria. I had many different thoughts when I read this "story". Forgive me for my criticism, please. I think that it is not a story, because there is no single and clear thought and no plot. But here we can see something from another genre. Maybe it is connected with your life, at least i think so. Here you tried to provoke some thoughts in our heads. And you did it. Your achievement is that everybody can find here some thoughts personally. And it's great!

I think that many people like creepy stories because of unprediction and the way the author makes his readers feel more and more "terrified". I find it interesting and I'm agree with Michael. This short story can also be a good "intro" for some really cool and interesting stories.
This story reminded me the scene of the film "Kill Bill", when the main hero tried to get out of the coffin. I suppose, this situation is horrifying. But unfortunately, there are some cases of this type... When doctors think that person have already died, but it isn`t right. And people come round....but not in the hospital.

Ira, is it legal to write so sad stories? Actually, it is very "strong" idea for something bigger than that. For a little novel or a poem (As you can see I like poetry). Of course it is so awful to stay alone without any person who would love you. And many old people, who lost someone who were close to them become angry and greedy. But Charlie has some memory about his wife. And it is the most important. Whenever you're trying to find her here You always lose. But if you'll make another choose You could find her near.

It`s really difficult film, but I advise you to watch it.

The Mermaid One day old sailor swam through waves to the beach. He almost died, but the stranger saved him. Stranger told to Sailor one old story, about mermaid, which were hunting lonely travelers in the sea or on the beach. She enticed lonely man by her voice and nobody else ever saw that person. He did it as he knew every single detail. After that the Stranger turned around and went to the water.
P.S. It is the only first part of the story, without any plot or details. I've just set up the scene for story more bigger than this.
It`s very similar to the ancient Greek myth about sirens. This creatures looked like beautiful mermaid with wonderful voice, which helped them to lure sailors. Unfortunately, pretty "mermaids" were unkind, and people, which succumbed to their tricks were died...
How often do we see the dreams? What happens with us, when we sleep. Can our dreams come to the realilty? Is the a prophetic dream real or not? This questions connect us during all our life.
In my full story I will say about three main theories about the origin of our dreams. Can memories form the dreams? Or maybe it's a joke of our brain? Do you believe that the soul of man lives several lives? Maybe it's the reason to dream?
